Plan Overview

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), in conjunction with the Arkansas  Department of Parks and Tourism, Arkansas  Department of Health and Arkansas State Police are developing a statewide bicycle and pedestrian plan. 

The planning process runs 18 months from the Fall of 2013, to the Winter of 2015.  This plan will update and build upon the State’s earlier State Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Planwhich was developed in 1998. Click here to learn more about the Plan.
